An RHS qualified gardener, I have lived and gardened in East Dulwich for 20 years.
Since 2005 I have been running gardening courses for beginners from my own garden. How to Garden (6 sessions) covers how to create a garden with colour and interest all year, basic techniques and soil improvement. Begins each March.
I also offer one-off bespoke sessions - I come to you - to give advice, ideas and talk through options for your garden.
Since 2000 I have taught gardening in local schools and have recently qualified as a Level 3 Forest Schools leader, running sessions for primary age children in local woodland.
I have an allotment and am convinced that gardening and learning to grow food is an important skill which can transform spaces and lives.
“Jane is a great teacher and inspirational gardener. Her garden is an urban oasis and I really looked forward to my Saturday morning lessons. My own garden has changed beyond recognition with Jane's help. Sign up quickly before the places go!” Stella Dunn
“Immensely enjoyable. Informative and motivating , with tangible results (salad leaves all summer long, spuds, tomatoes, chillis, beans of all kinds).” Claire Sibson
