“I thoroughly enjoyed learning to grow my own vegetables with Jane. She is hugely knowledgeable but has a lovely relaxed, informal approach to sharing her experience, skills and techniques with complete novices! The sessions gave me the confidence to tackle simple projects in pots, window boxes and with up-cycled materials I could find for the little balcony on my flat. This session was great for someone entirely lacking in green fingers and I would strongly recommend to get involved and be inspired by her charming garden.”   Sarah Campbell

“Jane's classes were excellent. We learnt so much in a relaxed and fun environment. Jane has a wealth of knowledge and a real passion for horticulture. I would not hesitate to recommend her courses.”  Brian Tapson

“I had made a few tentative attempts at growing vegetables at home but found it difficult to translate information from books and the internet into successful crops. Jane gave us practical demonstrations that made it easy for me to grow all sorts of vegetables from seed - something I hadn't even attempted before. The monthly classes also inspired me to get out and dig, so despite a very busy life, I kept motivated to maintain my patch and enjoy my delicious harvestables. I would definitely recommend the class!”  Victoria Martin

“As a total beginner, I have immensely enjoyed learning with Jane. Her passion is infectious, and her approach is practical. She is attentive, and generous with her knowledge and treats. I am pleased that I have made the right decision to go to Jane's Vegetable School!” Aileen Wong

"I've recommended Jane's courses to friends, clients and to anybody who wishes to learn about gardening, whether complete beginners or more experienced gardeners, and will continue to do so. You'll learn loads while enjoying yourself in a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. With Jane you benefit from the experience of a passionate and no-nonsense gardener. She will make you feel comfortable to ask all the silly questions you've always wondered about gardening - the best way to learn I believe."  Barbara Samitier"

"I really enjoyed the monthly sessions with Jane! It was a lovely break from the busyness of the world on a Saturday morning, just to sit in the enclosed garden, surrounded by the birds and bees and absorb the peaceful atmosphere. Jane took us through the season, month by month and it was so much easier to see all the steps in her garden and then replicate it in mine. The free seeds at every session were good to take home and try. Jane is patient albeit with an dry sense of humour and we asked her a million questions about fruit and veg without feeling foolish. The hours really flew by, helped along with tea and homemade cakes or freshly dug new potatoes with butter - yum!" Lisa Matthews
